To date, a gluten free diet is the only treatment for those diagnosed with celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity as there is no cure. It is estimated that approximately 1 in 133 Americans, or 1% of the US population, has celiac disease and approximately 18 million Americans have gluten sensitivity.
