Phoenix Cooks knocks the ball out of the park once again! I’ve had the opportunity to attend the 10th Annual Phoenix Cooks at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa Saturday, August 30, 2014. Each time I’ve attended this spectacular culinary affair, I’m always amazed by the delicious creations that the local chefs showcase.
Many of the new restaurants that I’ve wanted to experience but never had the opportunity were in attendance at Phoenix Cooks; it was the perfect opportunity for me to learn about the restaurants, and to connect with the chefs and their staff. Most importantly, what I loved was that each chef was eager to personally cater to my dietary needs when I said that I couldn’t have gluten, dairy, soy, eggs. As I was in the process of walking away from many of the booths, the Executive Chefs would call me back and ask about what I could eat and they would then create something unique for me! Needless to say I was in heaven! Mere words cannot express how I felt with each bite, so take a few seconds to view my photos from the day!
Phoenix Cooks showed their support for local businesses by featuring local eateries including Sol Mexican Cocina, Bootleggers, Modern American Smokehouse, North Italia, Sushi Roku, Deseo, The Green House, and more.
The day was a deliciously fun affair all the while benefiting Banner Children’s. Now I can’t wait for Arizona Restaurant Week (#eatARW)!
