Gluten-free Cookbook Publisher Scores Big at Arizona Book Publishing Awards

Phoenix, AZ— The Arizona Book Publishing Association (ABPA) recently held its annual awards gala on Saturday, May 7th. The ABPA Awards Gala seeks to honor and recognize Arizona based book publishing companies which have excelled in their respective area.

Rhonda’s Cooking, LLC, publisher of “So, What Can I Eat Now?!—Living Without Dairy, Soy, Eggs and Wheat”, was honored at the Arizona Book Publishing Gala Banquet. The book, “So, What Can I Eat Now?!” authored by Rhonda Peters won 4 “Glyph Awards” in the following categories at this year’s gala:

  • “Best First Book by a New Publisher”
  • “Best Cookbook”
  • “Best Interior Layout/Design”
  • Best in the area of “Health/Wellness/Nutrition

The company released “So, What Can I Eat Now?!”, a cookbook which features recipes which are gluten, soy, dairy and egg free, in the Fall of 2010. The concept of the award winning cookbook was derived from the author’s struggle with multiple, chronic health conditions and the realization that her symptoms were best managed when she consumed healthier foods, herbs, fruits and vegetables. The cookbook’s layout features full color photos, nutritional facts for each recipe and a brief story highlighting each recipe. These innovative features garnered a “Best Interior Layout/Design” award for the publishing company and its design team. “So, What Can I Eat Now?!” is currently available for purchase at Amazon.com, several stores throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and at Hue-Man Bookstore located in New York City.
